The Engineering Tour is a two-hour guided tour of many of the mechanical spaces on board including an engine room, boiler room and Broadway. (Broadway is a long passage way that runs almost the entire length of the ship). Getting to the mechanical areas you will also pass by the hospital, post office and Combat Engagement Center areas of the ship that have been off-limits to the public in the past. Due to the confined spaces along this tour and group safety guidelines issued by various governmental agencies during the Covid 19 recovery period, each tour is limited to no more than 6 individuals from the same group.
Guests are required to wear closed-toe footwear due to ladders and grated decking. This tour is for ages 10 and over. All guests must be able to negotiate the ladders that will take them up and down to these unique spaces on board. The Engineering Tour is not recommended for those with physical conditions that may impair their ability to negotiate the stairs or stand for prolonged periods of times.
